LISBON — A Wexford man was sentenced to 150 days for felony-five importuning, felony-four attempted compelling prostitution and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Thomas Edward Oday was also sentenced to three years community control upon completion of his jail sentence and was designated as a Tier II Sex Offender. Oday reportedly agreed to pay $200 for sex with a 15-year-old foster home runaway and her 16-year-old friend in October of 2021.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Glenn Collins III, 41, Longs Church Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced 18 months in prison for third-degree felony burglary and three counts of violating a protection order from an incident in July 22, 2022. Collins also received eight months in prison on two counts of theft and two counts of breaking and entering stemming from another case.

— Zachary Markovich, 29, Poland, entered a change of plea to guilty to one count of fifth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl-related compound as part of a plea agreement. He was found in possession of the fentanyl-related compound on May 20, 2022. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Nov. 27.

— Jeffery Meredith entered a change of plea to guilty to one count of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, for having a loaded firearm in a vehicle on Oct. 19, 2021. Meredith will be sentenced on Sept. 28.

— Shakeyla Bratton, 31, Youngstown, was sentenced to three years of community control on one count of illegal conveyance of drug abuse onto grounds of a specified government facility. Bratton arrived for her work shift at the county jail on County Home Road on Oct. 29, 2022 with marijuana in her possession. The county sheriff’s office had received a tip about her bringing contraband to inmates inside the jail.

— Erin Atkinson, 43, Vienna, was placed on a three-year treatment plan in lieu of conviction for possession of a fentanyl-related compound and was ordered to forfeit $80 for an incident in 2022.

— Jajaun Coleman, 23, Youngstown, was sentenced to two years of community control for fifth-degree felony aggravated possession from an incident on May 26, 2022.

— Kimberly Jackson, 38, Old state Route 558, Salem, was sentenced to 180 days for felony-five aggravated possession of drugs and possession of LSD. Jackson’s community control was dishonorably terminated and she was given credit for 151 days served. The charges stem from an incident on Jan. 30, 2020.
